Donaldson-Insurance-CommuniTeeDonaldson Insurance, Inc., an agency with Country Financial in Prattville, Alabama, is the winner of the monthly CommuniTee prize for November 2015.

Jeff Donaldson opened decided to open his own agency in 1992 to not only help the local people in his city with their insurance needs, but to also have a family business that could one day be passed down to his future generations. When his children were small, he had a designated room for them to go to after school each day to play and do homework. As they grew older, his girls would venture to the front to learn the day-to-day life in insurance.

Gillham Retail Liquor Wins CommuniTee Prize for April 2015

The City of Coffeyville recently passed a law allowing liquor stores to be open on Sundays. On the first Sunday that they were open, their customers were excited not to have to travel to another state to purchase their beverages, and Gillham’s gave away a few shirts to help celebrate the occasion. Owner Debbie Gilliam is in the center of the picture showing the back of their CommuniTee.

Kansas has long been known as “The Buckle of the Bible Belt,” so this was big news in town.
